As a Senior Financial Analyst on the Finance team, you’ll serve as a strategic thought partner to key stakeholders in Operations, Marketing, Culinary and Supply Chain. You will be expected to exercise independent judgment and develop creative solutions to unstructured problems. This includes performing key duties like store level financial analysis, menu performance analysis, demand forecasting for new products, and supporting the annual plan and quarterly forecast processes. In addition, you will be expected to develop new frameworks and models to address previously undefined business questions. You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver insights and analysis that ensure financial impacts are understood and incorporated into the decision-making process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Pricing Strategy & Sensitivity Analysis: Partner with internal teams and external pricing consultants to evaluate pricing scenarios and provide recommendations that balance growth and margin.

  • Menu & Margin Analysis: Analyze performance of existing and new menu items, highlighting trends in margin, product mix, and guest behavior to optimize our offering.

  • Customer Behavior and Trend Analysis: Collaborate with Marketing and our Data Team to deep dive into customer churn and frequency data in order to provide the business with actionable insights.

  • Demand Planning for Innovation: Collaborate with the Culinary and Supply Chain teams to forecast demand for new ingredients and menu items, supporting innovation through rapid ops testing, market tests, and seasonal launches with rigorous forecasting and scenario modeling.

  • Annual Plan and Quarterly Forecast Support: Support the Annual Plan and Quarterly Forecast process by collaborating with Finance teammates and cross-functional partners and building financial models, vetting assumptions and reviewing outputs with key stakeholders.

  • Cross-functional Partnership: Serve as a strategic thought partner to key stakeholders, ensuring financial impacts are understood and incorporated into decision-making processes.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years with a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience. This experience should be in corporate finance, accounting, consulting, or a fast-paced FP&A environment.

  • Restaurant industry or multi-unit/omni-channel retail experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and analysis with a proven track record of resolving complex issues in creative ways; fluency in Excel and working knowledge of data tools.

  • Experience in exercising judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

  • Ability to act independently and receive little instruction on day-to-day work.

  • Experience with Enterprise Performance Management or other Enterprise Planning tools is a plus.

  • Understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation is a plus.

  • Experience with customer loyalty program design and performance tracking is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, especially when engaging with senior leadership.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage multiple priorities.
