sweetgreen is looking for a Paid Media Manager, Growth to join the Digital and Growth Team to help execute the paid media strategy across social, search, programmatic, and direct partnerships. This role will be responsible for the strategic planning, campaign management, and reporting of our performance and growth campaigns. 

The ideal candidate should be passionate about the sweetgreen brand, knowledgeable about our consumer, experienced with various media platforms and have a willingness to roll their sleeves to get things done. This person will be a natural doer, results driven, and be curious by nature. Our Paid Media Manager will wear multiple hats. Background with a client/brand and/or agency side experience is preferred. 

Media Strategy - functional experience

  • Responsible for executing and monitoring integrated media strategy across all advertising campaigns with the help of our external agency team
  • Ensure all media plans are optimized to deliver awareness, impact and engagement towards the sweetgreen customer to achieve overarching marketing objectives
  • Ensure development of insightful, comprehensive campaign analyses and that learnings are shared among internal and external stakeholders

Digital and Analytics - technical knowledge and analytical curiosity

  • Follow a data first approach across all marketing decisions
  • Assess daily reports to derive actionable insights
  • Ensure all deliverables and requests are completed on time and in the quality that we expect.
  • Work with our agency to build efficiencies based on our marketing objectives and seasonal launches
  • Ability to build Powerpoint presentations to level up the knowledge of our teams

Project Management 

  • Be passionate about building rapport with cross-functional teams, establishing trust, communicating openly and effectively while getting things done
  • Able to juggle multiple projects and tasks at one time
  • Not be afraid of tight deadlines and being adaptable to change

Background/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in performance or growth marketing; understanding of ad tech, platforms and industry measurement challenges.
  • Understanding of the concept of incrementality and performance measurement including ROAS, ROI, CPI, etc.
  • High level of confidence working in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience working directly in Google Ads, FB/IG, Snap, TikTok, and TheTradeDesk platforms strongly preferred
  • Experience using SQL and/or SAS (or similar statistics software). Tableau familiarity ideal but not required.
  • Excellent, almost zealous commitment to organization, prioritization and project management skills.  Ensure leadership is up to date on milestones and maintain the hygiene of sources of truth.  Exceptional attention to detail.
